Robert Singer, founder/CEO
rjs@waterstoneguitars.com

With an impressive line of electric, acoustic and bass guitars offering artist-level performance, and arena-stage playability, Waterstone Guitars has quickly established itself as a unique company with high-quality instruments borne of dedication and precision. And the man behind the design of the instruments is one who has applied that same dedication and precision to his other line of work. Dr. Robert Singer, the founder of Waterstone Guitars, is a Nashville, Tennessee-based neurosurgeon who has, in his words, "been into instruments far longer than being a doctor or a neurosurgeon."

Jim Morgan, Technical Director
jim.morgan@waterstoneguitars.com

Jim Morgan started playing bass in 1980 just about the time Disco was falling on it's face. Armed with a Fender Jazz, a Rickenbacker, a Thunderbird bass and eventually an old Hagstrom 8 string bass, he played in local Illinois bands throughout the 1980's and continues to play in one of Illinois hardest working bands.

In 1994 Jim purchased his first 12 string bass and has played them as his primary instrument ever since. Always the "gearhead", Jim likes to experiment with different amplifiers, bass guitars and pickup swapping always tweaking for that big bottom sound. In 2005 he purchased his first Waterstone 12 string bass and was impressed with the company and the quality of the instruments. In 2007 he joined the Waterstone team bringing his experience and technical background with him. Jim played a big hand in convincing Waterstone to develop a 32" scale version of their already popular TP series basses and also an edition of an 8 string bass to the line.

Jim has set-up many of the Waterstone instruments for customers including Tom Petersson, Ronnie Dunn, Billy Zoom and Nancy Wilson.
